La la la la...
May. 7th, 2005 12:42 pm...makes up pretty much half the lyrics to Luna Sea's "WISH". I don't know why I like that song so much. Maybe because it's so easy to sing along to.
Right, this has been a week of mishaps and...um...mystery? Mucus? Mongeese? I dunno, make up your own alliteration. The Nat and Tempest thing got resolved eventually, in between the doing of coursework (although not, I hasten to add, very well) the election (I wanted a hung Parliament! It would have been more interesting) and discussions about bread (...well, I'm just about to get to that).
A conversation with
rionaleonhart on the way up the hill on Wednesday (or maybe Thursday. I often mix up the two.) turned into a stranger conversation, which after that turned into a slightly stranger conversation than that (hey, has no one noticed my overuse of parentheses yet?). See, in a recent entry she mention something about "the bread...of JUSTICE!" and I have since been curious as to what, exactly, said bread would look like. We eventually concluded that it's just like an ordinary loaf of bread, except it wears a little cape and has "J" carved all the way through it.

In currants.
It resides in the Bakery of Truth. The matter of how much it would cost was never fully resolved (surely it can't be too expensive? Or it would put young heroes off saving the world) but there are, of course, other breads of virtue. The bread of Chastity. The bread of Peace. The bread of...well, we never got much past that, because the sinful breads were so much more fun xD The bread of Avarice, the bread of Envy...the bread of Lust (well, of course I would think of that one, wouldn't I?), the bread of Vanity, which has a little mirror suspended over it and wears stiletto heels. And the bread of Gluttony, which is Godzilla-like in size and swallows up small towns. It didn't come up in the conversation, but I'm assuming there's also a bread of Sloth, which looks cute and cuddly and hangs in trees ^_^ Oh! We also decided that Riona has been eating of the bread of Forgetfulness, which looks so tiny and helpless and sweet that you cannot resist its call. For it was once created in the Bakery of Truth, but has since been led astray and forgotten where it is...

yeah, okay, I'll stop. (Hn, and you wouldn't even let me tell you about the purple bread of Random - okay, okay, I'm done!)
Anyway, Thursday was the general election and was also the last day I had to work on my coursework, so I mixed the coursework with watching election satire xD With the end result that I went to bed very early on Friday morning and got up about five hours later. *sigh* The Conservatives got Putney. And Hammersmith and Fulham. Bastards. >_<
So on Friday I was very, very tired. Went to bed at 11 due to dinner being later than usual (and my missing most of it because I was half-asleep where I sat) and woke up...at about 11 the next morning. Whoo! I feel better.
Slightly disappointed because I found out I probably won't be able to do my TaeKwon-Do grading this half term.
Why? Because we can't pay for it. I won't go into details, but people owe my mother money and until they pay, extra expense = not an option. If they let me pay next week, maybe I can still do it...fingers crossed...but if not I'll just have to wait until next half term. >_< If it's going to be that much of a problem, though, maybe I'll just have to quit. £40-60 a half term...that's £100 a term, plus £20 a year for club membership if I want to take exams, and £20 for each exam I take. Maybe better to skip it. *sigh* Which is a shame, because for all I complain about having to go because I just don't feel like going out, in the actual time I do enjoy it.
Oh well. Life's like that.
Now, had better go. Must put in contact lenses before going out, not after. Chya!
