This is my afternoon:

I get a lift to Richmond Station. Yuki's in France today, so I had to make my own way to Tae Kwon-Do. I was a bit worried about going without her 'cause the Tae Kwon-Do people are scary, but I thought I'd be alright.

Rei: *arrives on platform* Hey, the trains seem to be going the wrong way...*asks platform guy if this is the right train for New Malden*

Platform guy: There are no trains to New Malden today. Try this Waterloo service and change at Clapham Junction.

Rei: *boards the train, wondering if all the services to New Malden will somehow materialise at Clapham Junction*

Train Announcer: This is the Windsor and Eton Riverside service...

Rei: OH HOLY SHIT.

So, long story short, I manage to escape from the train at Mortlake and call my dad. He is watching the football and therefore will give me a lift if need be but will be snappy at me for the rest of my life for making him miss the football; the traffic's murder anyway, so there's not much point. I do not want to spend an hour wandering around central London in the vague hope that I might stumble upon a Kingston service, because I'd miss most of the class if I did that anyway. My dad tells me to come home. I agree.

I am not looking forward to having to explain all of this to Yuki.

I do not like myself right now.

Sorry to hear about that. Sending psychic waves of joy your way. If that doesn't work, get some toffee popcorn - works wonders. If that doesn't work, get some toffee popcorn and give it to me, and then you will have the warm glow of... um... giving someone toffee popcorn. Yes.

...okay, this was genuinely supposed to be a sympathy comment, but my random cravings have just twisted it out of all recognition. Sorry about that.
