2. I once set my homework on fire by holding it for too long over a candle, and my carpet has the scorchmarks to prove it.

7 is undoubtedly false (8 is undoubtedly true).
Technically, I'm pretty sure that 1 is not entirely true, but I'm a bit uncertain on this one.
