So, today was my first day back. Is it bad that I consider updating the songs on my MP3 player an essential part of back-to-school preparation? I wouldn't rest until I'd done it. Also, I cleared out all the crap from my pencilcase.

I need to visit WHSmiths this weekend.

It wasn't that bad, I guess. Well, it was boring, but that's the worst that can be said of it. Got my timetable, had a brief chat with Miss Sharp about reading over the summer, went to assembly. I...don't remember what assembly was about, which shows how much attention I was paying.

Then I went to Biology.

...then I spent my lunchbreak reading the book Tempest lent me.

Then there was English, which was quite good actually. We started out discussing the news, which got on to "why is nothing good ever printed in the news?" which...got onto the controversy over Playboy stationery. o.o Then we spent a while discussing the new Harry Potter book, which I'm sure has made me very unpopular with my classmates - because I didn't think it was the greatest thing on earth, but still know it better than they do. No homework, at least. I'm sure they'll manage some tomorrow, though.

Right now I'm just about to go to bed, and fiercely procrastinating over my History coursework. I'm fantastic at this, I should run a class.

 

In other news, I have broken my small left toenail.

How?  I am not sure. It's cracked down the middle. I probably did it while ice-skating (more confidence = three falls).

...it hurts like buggery. >_<
